The Probability of a Robot Learning Magic Is Not Zero ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(机器人学魔法的概率不是零)
(Isekai Non-Human MC Sci-Fi Meets Fantasy Magic System Action Harem Comedy Warfare)

a rare book where the MC is a sentient robot, otherwise just regular Modern Technology in ancient world trope, something I'll always enjoy

The most advanced experimental tactical robot, Xuanwei, wakes up on a sword-and-sorcery continent with its memory banks wiped and its gear scattered across the land. It doesn't get a hero's welcome—locals call it a "junk golem" and attack on sight. The MC's response? Analyze their language, log their combat patterns, and promptly gun them down. What follows is a brutally efficient machine's journey to recover its lost equipment while trying to make sense of a world that runs on "magic"—a phenomenon it intends to dissect, understand, and weaponize.

What makes this shine is the clash of logic against fantasy. Xuanwei doesn't wave wands; it reverse-engineers spells like a debugger cracking code. Early chapters show the MC laying landmines for an arrogant mage, sniping a dragon with an electromagnetic railgun, and getting "hugged" by a slime while skeletons try to stab it with rusty swords. The humor is dry and situational—imagine a war machine politely asking bandits to repeat themselves for better translation data, then executing them. By chapter 21, it's already decapitating a dragon, and by the time it hits the "Sonic Boom" shockwave chapter, the locals start whispering about a new "god's envoy."

The progression is a slow-burn escalation from survival to domination. The MC establishes bases, clears dungeons floor by floor (shoutout to the Sixth Floor boss fight), and eventually faces off against dragon emperors and the floating island of Xufu. Later arcs like "Mithril Harbor" and "Iron Cage Fortress" show the robot turning into a geopolitical nightmare, with factions trying to ally, copy, or destroy it. The "Dominating Purple Nether" arc? Pure tactical flexing. It's not just about blasting things—Xuanwei optimizes its magic learning curve until fireballs and lasers become interchangeable tools. If you enjoy watching a non-human protagonist out-logic an entire fantasy world, this is a wild, satisfying ride.

The Elf Clan's Cultivator ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(精灵族的修仙者)
(Xianxia Isekai Elves Cultivation vs Magic System Longevity War Underdog)

Cultivation in magic world, another trope I like, normal writing

Anton wakes up in the game *Chronicle of Dawn* as an elf. Great news: he's immortal. Bad news: this continent is about to get steamrolled by dragon gods, undead plagues, and rising pantheons for the next ten thousand years. One wrong step and that "long life" gets cut embarrassingly short. Lucky for him, he's got a jade slip stuffed with forbidden cultivation knowledge. So while every other elf is busy chanting magic, Anton starts drawing talismans, forging dao soldiers, and setting up arrays. The elves initially think he's gone mad. Then he points two fingers and an endless sword-light crosses the void to annihilate a god a million miles away. "Eat sword, you overgrown sparkler."

What makes this fun is the clash of systems. The game runs on mana, spells, and elemental affinity—but Anton's body is "super-magical," letting him cheat with cultivation arts that ignore the local rules. Magic has cooldowns; cultivation has *breakthroughs*. Magic needs chants; Anton just needs a talisman and a grudge. He even crafts a "Spirit Gathering Talisman" that makes the local mages question their life choices. Early chapters like "Learning Magic Is a Dead End" and "Five Elements Fire Formation Success" show him systematically proving that the dao path just hits different. He's not humble about it either—one chapter title literally reads "I Wanted To Be Called Li Xiaoyao Anyway."

The story escalates from forest survival to clan warfare. Anton drags the elf race into modernization, upgrading their gear, supply lines, and combat doctrine until they're outgunning ancient powers. Chapters like "Heavenly Soldiers, Heaven Court Legend" and "Destroying the Transfer Point" show him dismantling enemy logistics while his clan starts winning battles they should've lost. By the time the "Dusk Spider Mother" shows up, Anton's reputation is so absurd that even the enemy is confused. He doesn't want revenge—he just wants them to "spit back everything they owe, with interest." For fans of cultivation logic crashing into fantasy tropes, this is a deliciously smug ride.

(律师:从合法报复出轨开始!)
(Legal Drama System Revenge Courtroom Dark Comedy Modern Day Smart MC)

legal battles with a system, can be a bit wordy and the law side, just skip it and read about the sweet revenge

Xu De wakes up in 2002 as a lawyer in Greenwood City with a golden finger: any client satisfaction earns him rewards. But his very first case is a nightmare—a husband whose wife cheated repeatedly, drained his assets, and now wants a divorce to run off with her lover. The system offers two cowardly options: split the property and swallow the humiliation, or quietly transfer assets and slink away. Xu De chooses a third path. He offers his client something rare—*legal* revenge. “Flip through the entire Criminal Code,” he says, “and you won’t find a single illegal step.”

The hook is that Xu De doesn’t break the law—he weaponizes it. Every scheme is a masterclass in exploiting loopholes, procedural rules, and the letter of the law to destroy his opponents socially and financially. Chapter titles promise chaos: “Social Death,” “Let’s Kidnap the Kid!” (legally, of course), “He Can’t Be Breaking the Law, Right?!” and the glorious “整理完毕,打年糕” (Packing Up, Time to Pound Rice Cakes). The courtroom becomes his stage, and judges, opposing counsel, and even police find themselves outmaneuvered by a man who argues that protecting a cop is actually an act of justice.

As the chapters escalate, so do the stakes. What starts with petty revenge spirals into multi-million-yuan corporate battles, a rape-false-accusation criminal case that turns into “magic vs. magic” courtroom duels, and a finale where Xu De literally “robs a courtroom” in a two-in-one 10,000-word chapter. He’s called a “lawless madman” by his peers, yet every verdict lands perfectly, every bug he exploits holds up in court. The system rewards his audacity, and the progression is watching him climb from small-town scuffles to facing off against three elite law firms—all while maintaining his signature smirk and zero moral qualms.

This is a power fantasy for anyone who’s ever wanted to see a lawyer fight fire with fire, but it’s grounded in the gleeful absurdity of legal technicalities. There’s no harem—just pure, righteous (and sometimes petty) vengeance served ice-cold, one airtight argument at a time. If you enjoy watching a genius troll the entire legal system while making clients weep with gratitude, this one’s a binge-read.

Accused of Being a Demon Cultivator, but I Really Am One ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(污蔑我是邪修,可我真是邪修)
(Xianxia Cultivation Anti-Hero System Revenge Politics Dark Humor)

regular progression is just too boring, MC is over powered and progress fast because he is on the demonic path....

Three hundred years after the immortal realm vanished and spiritual energy thinned, the cultivation world struck a deal: only those with proper pedigree may cultivate. No immortal ancestors, no noble blood—no destiny. And anyone who cultivates without it? They’re branded demonic, hunted, and killed. MC Zhou Yunjing, a transmigrator, once saved the rising Fuyao Fairy out of a single meal’s kindness. But when she loses her power struggle at Shu Mountain, she repays him by erasing his noble lineage and accusing him of being a demon cultivator—ready to execute him for “justice.” Facing his captors, he just shrugs: “You folks sure can pick ’em.” Then he transforms into a monstrous blood shadow that engulfs the sky.

Here’s the twist: the accusation isn’t false. The MC *is* a genuine demon cultivator—and a terrifyingly good one. What follows is a deliciously ironic romp where the righteous sects try to suppress a monster they unknowingly unleashed. The story shines in its power system: the Heart Demon Great Realm, a method that allows ascension *without* the immortal realm. It’s described as “fake and hollow” by those who don’t get it, but it’s the key to breaking the world’s rigid caste. MC’s path involves dodging old monsters (“Not good! An old-timer!”), out-scheming schemers, and casually comparing a sword immortal’s flying sword technique to a fly he swatted yesterday.

Progression is a joy to watch. Early chapters are pure setup—fake identities, political backstabs, and the sheer audacity of “I’ll just pretend to be a noble descendant.” Then it escalates: from dueling geniuses (non-Xiao Yan edition) to uncovering the truth behind the Seven Pulse Source Dao, a forbidden path that even immortals fear. By chapter 140+, the MC’s not just surviving—he’s baiting entire sects into “fishing” traps, flipping the “actor” script on everyone, and finally declaring, “Zhou Yunjing, please die!” to an entire world that has no idea what’s coming. The tone is darkly comedic, fast-paced, and packed with “you reap what you sow” karma. If you love anti-heroes who lean fully into their villain label, this one’s a blast.

I Just Told a Story, So Why Is the Whole Internet Begging Me to Turn Myself In? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(讲个故事而已,怎么全网劝我自首)
(System Streamer MC Crime Thriller Suspense Dark Comedy Police Procedural Second World)

very over powered MC in that he knows too much, and the system commands the popular deduction stories into real life. might not be too fun if you don't know the cases already.

Down-on-his-luck novelist Shen Feng wakes up in a parallel world with a “God-Level Story System” and starts streaming made-up crime tales to pay the bills. To grab eyeballs, he spins yarns about perfect murders, hidden conspiracies, and forensic loopholes. The problem? His “fiction” matches unsolved cold cases in this world to a terrifying T. Viewers lose their minds: “No one without ten years on the run could explain counter-surveillance this well!” “This isn’t a story—it’s a confession. I’m calling the cops!” Within hours, tens of thousands of viewers report him live, and a squad of armed police, led by an ice-cold female captain, kicks down his door.

But in the interrogation room, Shen Feng not only clears his name—he casually points out the real killer. From that day on, his stream’s vibe flips completely: cops across the country tune in with notebooks, while actual criminals sweat in terror. He just shrugs: “I’m not some puppet master. I literally only tell stories.”

The system’s gimmick is that every story he tells becomes a blueprint for reality—but the catch is he doesn’t control *which* part lands. Early chapters see him accidentally expose a luxury car sunk in a lake, a skeleton buried under a police station’s foundation, and a nursery rhyme that makes the entire internet shiver. His “blind profiling” during live audio-only segments turns him into a national legend, even outing a billionaire’s secrets and triggering a million-dollar bounty on his head. The escalation is relentless: from a single streamer dodging arrest to dismantling a corporate underground hospital, racing against capital to expose a human-trafficking ring hiding in plain sight.

What makes this addictive is the constant collision between Shen Feng’s deadpan “I’m just a writer” attitude and the chaos he triggers. Every chapter title is a hook—whether it’s police digging up a foundation, a black-market server being wiped remotely, or a monitor going dark for eleven minutes. The story balances dark humor with genuinely clever police-work logic, and the pacing never lets up. If you like smart protagonists, absurd situations, and crime-solving that feels like a live-action game of chess, this one’s a rabbit hole worth falling into.

Your Skill Is Pretty Good… Mine Now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(你的技能很好,现在我也有了)
(system copy-ability cultivation sci-fi wuxia overpowered-mc time-travel comedy)

progression fantasy I guess ? but another overpowered MC with system

After single-handedly conquering the galaxy and wiping out the last of his enemies, Lu Zhao reaches the absolute peak of power and prestige. Surrounded by awe, envy, and fear, he finally answers the Emperor’s summons—only to walk into the throne room of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China, who greets him with a casual: “Yo, Lu Zhao, we’re from the same hometown.” So much for cosmic domination. Now the universe’s strongest warrior has to figure out how to survive a bureaucratic empire where his only ally is a 2,000-year-old time traveler with a god complex.

The real hook here is the copy system—and it’s busted in the best way. Lu Zhao can completely replicate any skill or ability he observes, which sounds simple until he starts stacking broken combos. Need to out-martial-arts a Grand General? Copy his secret cultivation method. Facing a psychic? Grab that “Swift Thinking Lv2” and outspeed them. The chapter “Learn 10 Special Skills = 900 Points of Talent” sums up the philosophy: raw genius is overrated when you can just steal everyone else’s homework. By the time he’s juggling the “Twelve Martial Classics of Heaven and Man” alongside modern sci-fi tech, he’s less a cultivator and more a walking copyright infringement lawsuit.

The story escalates from schoolyard sparring to cosmic war crimes with whiplash speed. Early chapters are pure fun—MC trolling classmates, hiding his power level in the dorms, and casually dropping phrases like “I’m used to taking off in secret.” But by chapter 276, he’s declaring “I’m going to kill someone right now,” and the tone shifts to serious cultivation politics. The final arc brings back old friends (and enemies) in a showdown at the “Great Fierce Forest,” featuring a move called “Yanluo King Slash” and a fight where the MC wins by literally having a bigger… technique. The humor stays sharp throughout, like a boss fight interrupted by someone asking “Why are you still thinking about your damn tea after doing something this huge?”

If you want a protagonist who starts at the top and still finds ways to cheat the system, with a mix of sci-fi, xianxia, and a dash of historical absurdity, this one’s a ride. No harem, just vibes, violence, and one very confused First Emperor.

Food Bestows Upon Me Tags, Lurk and Eventually Be Invincible ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(美食赋我词条,苟着终会无敌)
(Cultivation Gourmet System Slow-Burn Progression Xianxia Revenge)

This isn’t your usual cultivation grind—MC Chen Xu is a broke scholar who stumbles into a food-based power system that’s as delicious as it is deadly. Waking up one rainy night, he discovers three game-changing abilities: every satisfied eater gives him a permanent stat boost, he can read the “tags” of any ingredient or dish (like “+1 Vitality” or “+3 Spirit”), and his cooking always comes out tastier than it should be.

The story kicks off with a literal mouse giving him a thumbs-up for a bowl of congee, and from there, Chen Xu slowly transforms from a starving bookworm into a culinary monster. The unique system lets him upgrade his kitchen from “Firework Level 1” to crafting “Immortal Pills for Longevity” and even “Nine-Turn Longevity Pills” that defy heaven’s laws.

The chapter titles tease epic moments: he grinds down a dragon’s bones, crunches on a Daoist elder’s golden core, and later hosts a banquet for gods, humans, demons, and ghosts, using the world as his chessboard. But don’t expect instant power—Chen Xu plays the long game, lurking in the shadows while his cooking skills snowball.

The story escalates from a simple “Bookworm Brews Porridge, Mouse Likes” to “Tearing Down the Old City Gate” and “Treading on the Bones of Officials in the Imperial Streets.” There’s no harem here—just a lone chef with a grudge against a corrupt world, simmering his revenge one dish at a time. By the end, he’s not just cooking food; he’s cooking the entire system of heavenly injustice, with chapter titles like “Heaven’s Will Like a Knife, World’s Truth” and “The Great Confucian Will Argue for Me.” It’s a slow, satisfying burn where every meal is a step toward invincibility, and the real spice comes from watching a nobody become the world’s biggest headache for the gods.

From Wizard Apprentice to Conqueror of All Realms ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(从巫师学徒到万界征服者)
(LitRPG Wizardry World Conquest Knowledge Progression System Magic Genius MC Military Strategy Craftingharem)

A new book from one of my favorite authors. His book is always about smart, over powered MC working toward realm domination. It isn't the best writing, but the book flows well, and is kind of the the nice slop to enjoy without too much thinking.

This is a no-nonsense, power-progression fantasy that skips the angst and dives straight into the sweet, sweet math of magic. MC Mo Ning wakes up in a brutal wizard realm locked in a seventeen-millennium war with the angelic plane, armed with the Truth Pupil—a game-breaking cheat that lets him see, analyze, and reverse-engineer the fundamental equations of reality. Forget chants and wands; here, wizards duel by solving spatial-phase transformation matrices and time-displacement variable sets.

Mo Ning doesn’t just learn spells—he invents entire systems. From the Mo Ning Mana Deflection Program to the Mo Ning Advanced Spirit Ring Derivation Formula, he scribbles his name into the very architecture of magic, terrifying senior wizards who realize this “apprentice” is rewriting their entire field of study in real time. The progression is a rocket ride: he starts by crafting a simple witchcraft tool, then crushes a battle simulation, and before long, he’s designing rotor puppets that revolutionize aerial warfare and brewing magic potions that leave his peers gaping.

The chapter titles tell the story: “Three Hours to Create Two New Spells,” “Even First-Level Wizards Are Convinced,” and “The Strongest Genius Since the Academy’s Founding.” But the real hook? The world-building is dense and satisfying—every breakthrough is earned through intellectual grit, not luck. By the time Mo Ning leads a legendary wizard army to conquer the Supreme Sanctuary of Angels, you’ll have watched him evolve from a math-obsessed rookie into a terrifying sixth-circle legendary wizard whose name is carved into the skulls of every future student. No harem. Just pure, relentless, equation-crunching domination. If you love MCs who out-think, out-craft, and out-scheme everyone, this is your next binge.

Basic Cultivation Technique, but the System Insists It’s the Eight-Nine Arcane Art ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(入门功法,但系统非说是八九玄功)
(Cultivation System Misleading Power Mythological Action Progression Chinese Web Novel)

In a world overrun by demons and monsters where survival is a daily struggle, MC Li Ze wakes up with a system that seems to have a serious identity crisis. He starts practicing the most basic cultivation technique, the Metal Forging Art, but the system keeps insisting it’s the legendary Eight-Nine Arcane Art—a divine method from myth. When he learns a simple martial skill called Demon Suppression, the system calls it the Nine Transformations of the Candle Dragon.

Even when he studies a crude diagram of a green ox, the system claims it’s the Heaven-Overturning Earth-Shattering Art. At first, Li Ze thinks the system is just glitching, but as he pushes forward, he discovers the system might be more right than wrong. He unlocks absurdly overpowered abilities like the Swallowing Origin Furnace, the Heart Lamp Bright Mirror, and the terrifying Bloodline of the Ancient Candle Dragon.

By chapter twenty, he’s already gaining traits like Combat Talent and refining his blood with Earth Vein Blood Marrow. The story escalates fast—from clearing out the Blood Lotus Sect to facing sealed divine demons and even surviving the fall of an emperor. With chapter titles like “One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones,” “Three Heads and Six Arms,” and “Words Become Law,” this isn’t your typical slow-burn cultivation tale.

It’s a wild ride where every basic skill hides a cosmic-level secret, and the system’s “bugs” turn into the MC’s biggest weapons. Whether he’s crafting the Hundred-Refined Pure Gold or unlocking the divine ability of “All Phenomena Flicker in a Single Thought,” Li Ze’s journey is packed with constant upgrades, epic battles, and a growing sense that the system is unlocking something far beyond mortal comprehension. If you love stories where the MC’s power level skyrockets through clever exploitation of a quirky system, this one delivers non-stop action and mythical mayhem.

America: The Corpse Burner ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(美利坚:烧尸人)
(LitRPG Urban Fantasy Horror System Crafting Progression Action Dark Humor, harem`)

Yeah, another book about how bad America is, I guess I'm just on such a trend now....

Imagine you’re a federal corpse burner in a parallel-world America where every shadow hides a monster, and every dead body—human or bizarre—is a lottery ticket. That’s the life of our MC, Su Long, who wakes up in Seattle on a cold, rainy night as a lowly cremator. But then the [Corpse Burner System] kicks in, and things get wild. Burn an FBI agent’s corpse? Get the [Insight Intelligence] trait.

Torch a legendary boxer? Unlock [Peak Boxing]. Incinerate an A‑rank “Siren Head” anomaly? Boom—[Soul Broadcast]. And when he fries an S‑rank Gun Devil? That drops [Holy Flame of Exorcism]. The system is simple: every corpse yields a random trait, and the rarer the body, the juicier the reward.

The progression is addictive—the MC starts with the [Prometheus] origin trait, then racks up buffs like [Blessing and Curse], [Blood Control], and even a [Dream Master] ability. But it’s not just power grinding. The story throws him into a gritty urban nightmare: a rain‑soaked alley with a deadly passenger, a hospital where patients are “alive” but screaming from the walls, and a basement full of “Smiling Virgin” statues that weep blood. He’s dodging FBI warnings, battling a “Gun Devil” for a weapons deal, and crafting absurd items like [Slime Soda] and [Radiation Cola] that make him a “ten‑minute real man.” The humor is dark and sharp—he’ll do anything except calculus, and he’s always demanding “more money” for his grisly work.

As he burns through bodies, his reputation explodes: he becomes the “President’s Brother‑in‑Law,” the “Strictest Father of Capitalists,” and the “Human God Who Stands Alone Against Ten Thousand Anomalies.” The escalation is insane—from a lone cremator to a one‑man army wielding a [Genesis☆☆☆] domain and a relic called the “Boots of Remiel.” It’s a brutal, hilarious, and addictive ride where every chapter drops a new trait, a weird item, or a twist that makes you click “next.” No harem. Just pure, pyromaniacal progression.

Evil Cultivation Heavenly King ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(邪修天王)
(Xianxia Anti-Hero Unique Cultivation System Reincarnation Fast Progression Righteous vs Evil Moral Ambiguity Sect Politics harem)

A new book from one of my favorite authors. His style is also over powered, ruthless MC that scales up fast, has no shame, and harem. you get the trend. I guess I'm past the age to care about literary style or deep plot/philosophy. I mainly read now to relax and enjoy, like a popcorn movie.

Forget everything you think you know about righteous cultivation—this novel flips the script hard. Our MC, Zhou Wuji, awakens with ancient memories and a cheat-like ability to ignore fate, karma, and the so-called "natural order" that binds every other cultivator. The world says there’s good and evil in methods, but the MC doesn’t care—he’s here to take the fastest path to the top, even if everyone calls him a heretic.

This isn’t just another slow-burn xianxia; the power system here is built around "Fu Qi" (服炁)—a raw, no-nonsense energy absorption method that lets him steal essence from spirits, demons, and even heavenly tribulations. Early on, he’s already diving into the Wan Gui Di Ku (万鬼地窟) to harvest ghost energy, crafting items like the Tian Ji Sword and Bai Hong Sword from looted materials, and using Beidou Seven Star Steps to outmaneuver foes. The chapter titles alone tell a wild story: from "Strike First" (先下手为强) to "Heavenly Emperor Blessing" (天帝赐福), "Killing Ghosts to Refine Qi" (斩鬼炼炁), and "Three Palms to Establish Authority" (三掌立威).

The MC doesn’t wait—he’s always plotting, always one step ahead, whether he’s outsmarting demonic sects or manipulating righteous elders into handing over treasures. What makes this addictive is the tension: the world labels him a demonic cultivator, but his actions are often more pragmatic than evil. He’ll save a village from a ghost tide, then turn around and steal a sect’s dragon vein.

The progression is rocket-fast—by chapter 120, he’s already at the Fourth Rank and wielding Xuan Yin Reincarnation Scripture to dominate battles. There’s no harem—just a lone wolf grinding his way to the top, with occasional allies like the enigmatic Tian Wai Yi Ling (天外异灵) who push him further. If you love anti-heroes who laugh at fate, steal heaven’s blessings, and make everyone kneel, this is your next binge.

The Witcher Can’t Keep Up ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(猎魔人忙不过来了)
(urban fantasy system monster hunting dark world crafting business management tech progression action)

Imagine a world split in two—above, the mundane reality we know; below, the Nightmare Realm, a eternal darkness where humanity’s greed, ambition, jealousy, and hatred breed endless evil spirits and demons. These monsters constantly seep into our world, causing disasters and tragedies. That’s where the MC comes in: a witcher tasked with slaying these nightmares and maintaining balance between both worlds. But here’s the twist—this isn’t some grim, lone-wolf saga.

The MC starts by returning to America and immediately thinks, “Why not join a church?” From there, he dives into the Nightmare Space, learns to kill in dreams, and then… starts handing out relief supplies and becoming a family tutor? Yeah, the progression is wild. The unique power system here revolves around the Nightmare Realm itself—you gain abilities by hunting its denizens and crafting bizarre items from their essence. Chapter titles like “Triple Happiness” and “New Ideas” hint at his chaotic creativity, while “Food Truck” and “Price Hike” show he’s not just fighting—he’s building an empire. The story escalates fast: from exorcising a witch in a theater to dealing with “God’s Whole Family Descending to Earth,” then moving into cases, protection money, autopsies, and even gunfights.

But it doesn’t stop there. By the later chapters, the MC is dabbling in tech—think “Stacking Computing Power” and “Joe Jobs? What Does He Know About Smartphones?!”—turning his monster-hunting loot into a billion-dollar business. He gets into corporate warfare, patent trolling, and even mocks India’s lack of resources. The tone is punchy, irreverent, and packed with dark humor.

No harem here—just a relentless MC who goes from killing demons to running a tech empire, all while keeping the Nightmare Realm in check. If you love urban fantasy with a system, crafting, and a protagonist who’s as good at business as he is at exorcisms, this is your next binge.

High Martial: My Mosquito Clone Ran Rampant ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(高武:我的蚊子分身杀疯了)
(system martial arts apocalypse tomb raiding fast-paced invincible MC blood powers progression fantasy)

When the Red Moon descended and blood rain fell, the world changed forever—cultivation-grade spiritual energy flooded Earth, but the blood-rain monsters turned every city into a death trap. MC Lin Yi wakes up in this nightmare with a unique "Mosquito Clone System" that lets him drain enemies dry and convert their blood into raw qi and physical power. While other martial artists panic at the sight of the blood-rain beasts, Lin Yi realizes they’re just walking blood packs. The system isn’t just for grinding, either—it evolves, unlocking abilities like "Breach Limit" and "Spiritual Essence Absorption," letting him skip years of training.

By Chapter 7, he’s already cracking open a Pre-Qin dynasty tomb, sucking dry a thousand-year-old blood corpse, and spitting out power-ups that would make any academy prodigy weep. The story rockets from there: he doesn’t bother with college or tournaments, instead topping the national college entrance exam and getting recruited by the Dragon Kingdom’s Institute of Sciences to join a tomb-raiding archaeology team. From sewer rat infestations to collapsing Five-Pentagon buildings, Lin Yi’s mosquito swarm goes global—by Chapter 206, he’s commanding a thousand rank-9 demon kings and building the number one force on Earth. But the real chaos starts when the "Nine Suns Hanging in the Sky" event shatters reality, revealing the Immortal Realm and ancient sects like the Seventy-Two Immortal Sects.

Lin Yi’s mosquito clones start hunting gods, breaking into the "White Serpent City" to kill a White Moon Divine King, and absorbing nine elemental rules to ascend to Divine King himself. The power system is simple but addictive: every chapter brings a new break through, new tomb, or new monster to drain. The chapter titles alone scream progression porn—"Kill the Heavenly God! Mosquito Clone Breaks Through Again," "Chaos Blood Core!

Dragon Might Overwhelms the Celestial Snake," "Human Emperor’s Treasure, Destroy the Vientiane Sect." No harem, no filler, just non-stop escalation from "Red Moon" to "Sage Threshold" in 230 chapters. If you want a fast, bloody, system-driven ride where the MC stomps everything, this is it.

Guarding the Fortress Alone for Three Years, I Became the Lord of the Long Night ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(独守要塞三年,我成了长夜领主)
(post-apocalyptic litRPG base-building dual-class dark fantasy survival progression)

Imagine the world ends—not with a bang, but a creeping shroud of darkness that swallows cities whole, spawning monsters that feast on human flesh. Now imagine you’re the last man standing at a crumbling fortress, alone for three long years, with nothing but a broken system and a stubborn will to survive. That’s where MC Lin Xiu finds himself in Guarding the Fortress Alone for Three Years, I Became the Lord of the Long Night.

He’s a dual-class anomaly—both a Lord and a Planter—and he uses these powers to turn a desolate ruin into a beacon of hope. The hook? He doesn’t just fight monsters; he plants them. From the “Sunlight Flowers” that illuminate his city’s streets to the “Demon Fruit Tree” that drives enemies mad, his botanical arsenal is as weird as it is deadly.

The power system here is a fresh take on litRPG: the “Seal Imprint” mechanic lets him bind plants and structures to his will, turning everything from a “Ghost Shadow Gladiolus” into a living weapon. Early chapters like “Food Crisis” and “Sunshine Potatoes” show him solving survival puzzles with creativity, while “The Sun God Tree Rises” and “Ruins World Tree” escalate the stakes into mythic territory. But it’s not just farming—he builds a “Rune Industry,” crafts “Precision Shrines,” and rallies “First Batch of Subjects” against waves of abyssal horrors.

The story moves from desperate defense in “Homeland Guard” to aggressive expansion in “New Map” and “Cleaning the Battlefield,” with chapters like “Using the Abyss Against the Abyss” hinting at a dark, strategic twist. There’s no harem here—just a lone lord, his growing city, and a legion of monstrous flora. If you love base-building, unique systems, and a MC who turns gardening into a weapon of mass destruction, this is your next binge.

I Build a Sanctuary in the Eternal Night ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(我在永夜打造庇护所)
(base-building survival system crafting post-apocalyptic progression mystery)

This author isn't my favorite, I did read several of his books. His writing is kinda different, the MC is always kinda crazy, abstract, and the power system atypical, soemtime it is enjoyable, other times is like WTF.

Imagine a world where night never ends, and every shadow hides a monster waiting to tear you apart. That’s the brutal reality MC Chen Fan wakes up to after crossing over. But he’s no helpless survivor—he’s armed with the Eternal Night Lord system, a game-like interface that lets him construct buildings from scratch. No cheat skills, no instant power-ups—just raw, strategic base building.

He starts with nothing but a patch of cursed land and a loyal, one-legged sidekick nicknamed “Lame Monkey” (yes, that’s chapter one). Soon, he’s laying down Arrow Towers, raising Walls, and planting Monkey Head Mushroom Seeds—a weird but vital resource. The system’s beauty? Every structure isn’t just defense; it’s a step toward domination. He learns to “Store grain, build walls, and delay claiming kingship” (chapter 3’s golden rule), investing in people like the mysterious “Mother’s legacy” (chapter 10) and trading at the Jiangbei Market (chapter 17).

But the real fun starts when the Eternal Night truly falls—monsters flood in, and his arrow towers level up to 3. The story escalates from survival to conquest: he builds a Cross-Continent Great Wall (chapter 349’s Ultimate Catastrophe), faces Time Ruin Lords (chapter 348), and enters Boundary Battlefields (chapter 356). By the end, he’s not just surviving—he’s declaring, “This is my domain.” The chapter titles are a treasure trove of action and humor: “You’re a genius,” “Can’t really use them to death,” and “It’s moving, it’s moving!” (spoiler: it’s a building). No harem here—just pure, addictive progression. If you love crafting systems, base defense, and watching an MC go from zero to warlord, this is your read.

Surprise ! I had so many novels from the 3 month, so I saved some for a later update.

**Practice the Dao of MTL to read these novels:

[Can You Still Get a Recommendation to Monster Vocational College?](https://www.qidian.com/book/1047213758/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(还能保送怪物职业学院)
(urban  system  monster taming  school life prog fantasy)

The writing is good, and power system is kind of new. Recommended.

After bombing his College Entrance exams, the MC somehow lands a guaranteed spot at Monster Vocational College, a brutal academy built on the Pendulum system — resonate with the right frequency and you project the power of a Class Holder drawn from myth, history, or nightmare. A sarcastic System immediately pegs him as a top-tier genius, flooding him with overclocked blueprints, situational buffs, and quest chains that turn every class into a high-stakes raid. What follows is a relentless progression rush: he builds bone-armor suits, tames living weapons, commands a ghost ship, chains together faction wars, and climbs the leaderboards while the real world and the game blur into one. The inventive Pendulum-frequency power system gives the power-ups real weight,

Starting Work at the Zoo, the System Says I’ve Joined the Beast Taming Sect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(# 入职动物园,系统说我拜入御兽宗)
(Urban Cultivation Beast Taming System Slice of Life  Animal Companions)

Another mistaken system novel, it is alright. .

MC Yang Qi takes a zoo job on a whim and immediately triggers a completely deranged Beast Taming Immortal Cultivation System that reads every animal as a mythical spirit beast—monkeys become “Eight-Armed Vajra,” a tiger with a toothache is a “Ironclad Violent Tiger,” and a stressed brown bear triggers a full “Spirit Beast Jailbreak” alert. The system rewards him with things like Beast Affinity and the Mother-Child Resonance Bell for tasks like yanking a bone shard out of a tiger’s gum or calming a runaway bear, and soon he’s racking up contribution points, crafting his first magical tools, and climbing from outer disciple to true beast-taming powerhouse while the public just thinks he’s a weirdly gifted keeper. When the alarm blares “Blood Moon Demon Wolf Breakout,” he handles it like a sect emergency, and between pill refining and forming his Golden Core he still has to deal with a showboating cat, a lovesick lion, and a monkey king throwing a tantrum.

The Shining Knight Plants the Sun in the Eternal Night ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(# 光明骑士在永夜种太阳)
(Fantasy Kingdom Building Holy Light Photosynthesis PVZ Progression)

This is a new novel from a known author that has written other Western magic based novels, not bad.

In a world buried under endless night, the MC pioneers a unique power path called Holy Light Photosynthesis—he cultivates sunflowers that soak up even the faintest ambient light in the darkness and transmute it into everything from streetlamps and cultivation breakthroughs to living flying mounts. The story follows him as he carves out a territory from scratch: he develops the Heart of Steel secret technique to endure shadow beast attacks, builds a massive Earth Fire Holy Light Array inside a volcano to fuel his domain, and eventually raises sunflower griffins that patrol the black skies. The narrative spans crop experiments, castle-building, trade routes, and full-scale territorial defense as he pushes the darkness back one bloom at a time, turning a bleak world into a patchwork of glowing fields.

How on Earth Am I Invincible? ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(# 我咋就天下无敌了)
(Transmigration System Overpowered MC Comedy  Lighthearted)

This author always write novels with overpowered MC with a lot of surprise and old fashioned face-slapping, it is cliche , but he makes it tolerable to keep reading.

MC Lin Fan transmigrates into a world that flatly denies the existence of martial arts, but his system clearly displays cultivation realms, so he’s convinced the truth is being hidden by the powers that be. To uncover it, he joins the law enforcement agency and starts climbing the ranks, all while his body turns out to be an unstoppable wrecking ball for a bizarre reason—the childhood vaccination program in his original world somehow translated into completely maxed-out physical stats, making him immune to blades, poison, and blunt force. The novel follows him from street-level arrests and brutal interrogations, where he earns the nickname Silver Rod Lin Fan for beating confessions out of gangsters with a metal staff, to a legendary moment where he rides alone toward an invading army and one man repels ten thousand troops without swinging a weapon. Eventually he’s carving a bloody path through corrupt nobles, overthrowing kingdoms, and warning actual cultivators from other realms not to misbehave in his world, all while still thinking he’s just a lawman chasing the truth—until he one-shots the world’s top ten martial experts and realizes they really weren’t hiding anything, he’s simply the only person on the continent with maxed-out attributes and no clue.

So It Turns Out I’m the Demon ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(# 原来我才是妖魔啊)
(Harem Hidden Identity Star Ascension Cultivation ancient china)

Another overpowered MC that hides his abilities, I like it.

Description: The MC is a low-ranking government demon hunter with a simple life plan: slay demons to rack up merits and go home to his loving wife, until he realizes he isn’t just hunting monsters—he is one, and the amnesiac beauty he married is the fugitive Empress. His progression hinges on a ruthless power system called Star Ascension, a celestial dogfight where cultivators seize mythic thrones like the Zhongtian Ziwei North Pole Emperor, forcing him to balance cutthroat star-seizing politics with keeping his demonic nature hidden from the very demon-slaying colleagues he works alongside. The chapters deliver nonstop chaos, whether he’s publicly beating a scheming rival in the middle of the street, getting caught in a panicked late-night scramble where someone shouts “Hurry, someone’s coming!”, or locking in a massive breakthrough at the Seventh Realm, Star Proven milestone. The prose is sharp with snappy banter, the pacing hits a relentless stride between political intrigue and brawls, and the action is clean and physical, all while a growing harem of powerhouse women makes his double life increasingly impossible.

[Longevity Starts with Choosing Hextech Enhancement]https://www.qidian.com/book/1041791469/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(# 长生,从选择海克斯强化开始)
(Cultivation System Hextech Progression Alchemy)

From weak to strong based on Hexs..... not based

Description: The MC is a worthless handyman disciple in a monster-infested cultivation world, until he unlocks the Hextech Enhancement system—every breakthrough triggers a selection of game-like augments, and he picks the most shamelessly lazy ones. First he chooses “Start Slacking” and spends three years drinking tea and strolling, then instantly “enlightens” his way up three minor realms. Next he takes “Featherweight I”, turning a trash-tier mortal technique into a tenfold-speed cultivation engine and a tenfold-damage combat art. Later, “Buy One Get One” makes every pill furnace spit out a duplicate batch, letting him drown in resources while other disciples risk their necks on missions. The chapters follow him breezing through bottlenecks, quietly crafting under the radar, and eventually shocking the entire sect when his “talent” becomes impossible to ignore—all while he calmly picks each new hextech for maximum upside with minimum effort.

 [Chinese Superman] (https://www.qidian.com/book/1047184200/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(# 中国式超人)
(Transmigration Superhero Cultivation National Power Apocalypse Overpowered MC)

This one actually ended, just as the MC achieved full superman status. It imagines what happens if Superman landed in China instead of America. so an interesting twist.

Description: The MC transmigrates into the body of a baby Kryptonian and is promptly handed over to the state by his adoptive parents—so instead of hiding, he grows up as China’s classified strategic asset, blending Superman’s biology with an entire cultivation civilization. His power system fuses the Bio-Force Field and trillion-star-level physical stats with a self-invented path that treats every cell as a furnace and the sun itself as fuel, letting him hand-craft a miniature sun, shrug off a direct nuclear strike and slice it apart with a sword, then casually solo an entire aircraft carrier fleet while the military watches in disbelief. The chapters spiral into global-scale chaos as he punches through ancient tombs, forces Old Gods back into their slumber, and eventually ascends to a realm where his own transcendence drags all sentient beings along with him. The prose is sharp and the action is clean, massive, and relentlessly escalating, with the story fully committed to the spectacle of a Chinese Superman who doesn’t just save the world—he drags it into a new cosmic era.

Wizard: Building a Golem Army from Scratch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
( 巫师:从零开始打造魔像军团)
(Golem Crafting Academy Arms Dealer Industrialization Progression No Romance Kingdom Building Magic)

Good writing, smart MC,Magic with Science principles, good progression, recommended.

Description: MC Allen Wesson awakens the Gate of Truth, a reality-hacking cheat that lets him deconstruct golem blueprints down to the runic level, turning the arcane art of statue-crafting into an assembly-line military-industrial engine. Starting as a broke academy student, he uses a point-stone-into-gold trick to bankroll his research, builds a sniper rifle in his dormitory, and pilots a Gundam-sized mecha into combat long before graduation. His progression is all golems, all the time—from spidery scouts and flying fortresses to the “Liberty Gundam” that punches clean through enemy lines, and a twelve-thousand-six-hundred-missile barrage that annihilates an entire dark-wizard offensive. Sharp pacing, crisp technical detail, and clean, large-scale action carry the story from school survival to founding Wesson Heavy Industries, with the MC becoming the golem arms dealer for kingdoms and eventually a war lord who answers the call “I am war!” with an orbital drop of a heavy composite legion. No romance, no distractions—just relentless golem-driven industrialization and the sheer joy of watching a wizard turn a fantasy world into his personal foundry.

The Heavenly Principle Protocol ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(# 天理协议)
(Mythical Revival Urban Supernatural Harem Dragon Host Overpowered MC Action)

Another recommended novel, a different power system, some harem, and just good read.

Description: MC Xiang Yuan suffers from a unique eye condition that makes every resurrected Heavenly Principle—eldritch dragons, fox spirits, and nightmare gods—look exactly like ordinary humans, so he runs a shop called Mist Mirage Tower where he drinks, jokes, and parties with the continent’s most terrifying mythic beings without ever realizing it. His power system is the Perfect Substance Technique, a reality-bending path driven by the Ten Layers of Delusion that lets him rewrite perception and eventually fuse with a primordial Clam Dragon, granting him illusory domains, a Dragon Chakra Mode, and the authority of the Heavenly Emperor. The chapters deliver vivid, unforgettable set-pieces: he whips out an eighteen-meter-long blade in battle, casually pulls off a husband-and-wife mixed doubles beatdown with his dragon partner, and learns the art of crumbling, retreating, selling, and slipping away when the odds get truly ridiculous. The prose is sharp, the pacing hits a breakneck stride between street-level brawls and mythic-scale catastrophes, and the action is clean and inventive. The story is a full-throttle harem ride, with a dragon queen, a nine-tailed fox, and a schoolmate all orbiting him, while a deep conspiracy about the world’s hidden origins and his own mysterious bloodline simmers under every clash.

[Only I have Magic: Real Cultivation Game]https://www.qidian.com/book/1047812720/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(唯我独法:现实修仙游戏)
(urban China, cultivation, no harem, mistaken system, slice of life)

Yet another mistaken system novel (these sure are popular nowadays). MC is a Senior in High School just grinding for the College Entrance Exam. He gets a system that thinks he is in a cultivation world. Thus it'll mistake his normal actions as cultivation feats, like killing rats is counted as killing monsters. The rewards are genuine power up though. What would you do if you are the only one in the world that could cultivate and posses golden core level power ?

Yeah Yeah Yeah, Us Necromancers are just like that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(对对对,我们亡灵法师就是这样的)
(fantasy, necromancer, kingdom building, no harem, comedy, sarcasm)

The MC is a necromancer who keeps getting accused of all the nasty stuff necromancers supposedly do — raising the dead, digging up graves, starting undead plagues, imprisoning holy priestesses, even stealing a god's power. He just smiles and nods: "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say." But when the rumors go too far, he flips and says the holy maiden is actually his girlfriend, the emperor is his best bro, and the god stepped down willingly. Then he locks up all the rumor-spreaders. This is a full-on necromancer power fantasy — building undead armies, conquering hell, taking over the underworld, and making angels bow down. If you like unit evolution, territory building, "Heroes of Might and Magic" vibes, and watching a necromancer go from skeletons to skeleton kings, give this one a shot. No real plot, just pure undead domination.

We Said We'd Make Bad Movies, But What's With the Game of the Year? ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(说好摆烂拍电影,年度游戏什么鬼)
(urban, game development, no harem, system, national competition, movie adaptations)

The MC is a failing film director who gets a movie-making system, then transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a game developer instead. He figures if he's gonna make games, he might as well do it the way he knows best—by adapting Earth movies into games, but with the most chaotic, unhinged design choices possible. So you get stuff like Shawshank Redemption as a prison survival sim where you fight sisters in underground boxing matches, Batman: Begins as a Gotham open-world beat-'em-up, and eventually Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and even The Wolf of Wall Street. The system also gives him national competition missions, so when other countries try to boost their economies or develop weapons, he just drops a themed game to ruin their plans (like releasing Terror Cruise against Japan's shipbuilding industry). The whole world is convinced he's a genius provocateur, but really he's just a former bad movie director making stuff he thinks is funny. No real plot, just pure chaotic game development, live stream reaction chapters, and watching players suffer through intentionally cruel level designs while calling him a monster.

Multiverse Card Drawer ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(万界抽卡师)
(fantasy, transmigration, card drawing, no harem, system, world editor)

Yet another "I used to balance games for a living, now I just break them" kind of novel. The MC is a former game planner who wakes up in a fantasy world as a sacrificial lamb about to be offered to a minor god. His only assets are a coffin and the fact that his game's GM panel and gacha system came with him. So he just keeps pulling cards across the multiverse — martial arts manuals, magical items, even hidden dungeon cards — while slowly unlocking admin privileges like a world rule editor that lets him tweak anything from divine power levels to who owns what treasure. The whole world is on "one life only" hardcore mode, but the MC is the guy who wrote the rules, so he just ignores them. No real plot, just constant card draws, realm breakthroughs, and watching the MC casually rewrite reality while everyone else panics.

WTF is Game of the yearh,(Let You Make Flight Simulator, You Made It into PUBG) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(年度最佳什么鬼 / 让你做飞行模拟,你做成跳伞吃鸡)
(urban, game development, no harem, system, e-sports, business)

The MC is a game designer who gets a system and just wants to make cool stuff, but somehow his "simple battle royale" game called Chicken Dinner becomes a national phenomenon. So he keeps adapting classic Earth FPS games into this world—Delta ForceBattlefieldValorant, even CSGO—while accidentally building a billion-dollar e-sports empire. The whole world thinks he's a gaming visionary, but really he's just a guy who likes making people rage-quit. There are also some business subplots about stock markets and platform wars, but mostly it's just game launches, streamer reaction chapters, and watching the MC casually ruin other companies' lives. No real plot, just pure game dev chaos and e-sports domination.

High Martial: My Time Stop Isn't Quite Right ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(高武:我的时停不太对劲)
(urban, time stop, martial arts, no harem, system, competition)

In this world, awakening an ability always comes with a side effect. The stronger the power, the more crippling the limitation—teleportation with random direction, flight with one centimeter altitude, immunity to illness that only kicks in after death. The MC gets time stop, one of the rarest abilities, but his side effect is... weird. Very weird. Now he has to figure out how to work around his own broken power while climbing the martial arts rankings, taking on the academy tournament, and competing against everyone else who's also dealing with their own brand of cursed abilities. Think quirky superpower battles with a progression fantasy grind.

My Superpowers Are Getting Increasingly Abstract ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(我的超能力愈发抽象)
(urban, superpowers, no harem, system, apocalyptic, comedic)

After waking up, Qi Le discovers he randomly generates all kinds of bizarre abilities—wearing overalls guarantees a perfect basketball shot, he can turn invisible as long as no one is looking, and he always gets full marks on exams. Since he's just an ordinary guy with no grand ambitions, he figures he'll use his weird powers to earn some cash, treat himself, and maybe upgrade his lifestyle a little. But the world has other plans—myths are reviving, ghosts are roaming the streets, and apocalyptic disasters keep popping up. Now Qi Le has to deal with all that nonsense first, then get back to rewarding himself. No deep plot, just constant dungeon runs, increasingly abstract problem-solving, and watching a guy who just wants to relax accidentally save the world using the most ridiculous methods imaginable.

Gourmet Bestows Me Tags, Staying Low-Key Will Eventually Make Me Invincible ⭐️⭐️⭐️
(美食赋我词条,苟着终会无敌)
(xianxia, cooking, system, no harem, scholarly, slow burn, ancient China)

A poor scholar named Chen Xu is at the end of his rope when he awakens a talent: every time someone enjoys his food and gives him a thumbs-up, he gets stronger. He can also see special "tags" on ingredients and his dishes, and his cooking always comes out more delicious than it should. So he does what any reasonable person would do—stays low-key, runs a small kitchen, and quietly grinds power by feeding hungry ghosts, rogue cultivators, and the occasional demon rat. But the world has other plans: corrupt sects, scheming officials, and cosmic conspiracies keep dragging him out of his wok. No real plot, just cooking, leveling up through compliments, unlocking ridiculous food tags, and watching a scholar who only wanted to boil porridge accidentally become the most terrifying existence in the cultivation world.

穿甲弹不相信碳基怪物 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(Armor Piercing Round doesn't believe in carbon based monsters)
Post Apocalypse, sci-fi, military, no system, group

Imagine Fall out 4, but set in China. 4 elite special forces personnel found themselves transmigrated about 400 years later, to a world filled with monsters and human factions. Thankfully they still got their full military tactical weapons and gears, Like surveillance drones, Sniper Grenade launcher, rifles, pistols. And they are surprised to find archived military gears in deep buried vacuum depots that only the know how to use, as the knowledge had been lost. Again, I got lured in the by title. Most of the military equipment mentioned are Chinese made, and there are some cultural references to military memes. but over all, if you like military actions, it should still be enjoyable. Be noted that this is a new novel, so it only has like 20K words. Normally I would read such short books, but with the title, I just gotta see if it is any good.
spoiler alert They are about to detonate a tactical nuclear warhead in the latest chapter.

宇宙无限食堂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ (Endless Food Court of the Universe)
(Multiverse, delicious food, rogue-like, slice of life, no harem, no system, aliens, urban)

MC saved a silicon based life form that is the cook of the universe, named Wang. He and Wang first start as a street food vendor. Wang does the cooking, MC travels to different worlds to battler various creatures and gather ingredients. The first world he has a rogue-like system that grants him different blessings when he kills a monster. The second world makes him play a real life version of battle chess with Witches. The ingredients are like monster meats, or live vegetables (think plants from PvZ). Wang cooks it on earth and they sell it as a street vendor and later upgrades to restaurant. There are also world guardians on earth that acts as like Men in Black to make sure the aliens on earth do not blow their cover. So the food Wang makes are also delicacies for the resident aliens. The book combines cooking and battling together, with a dash of sci-fi, something new and different. so far so good.

### Attending College at Age 38, I'm classmates with my son and daughter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(harem maybe, modern China, Urban setting, slice of life, system, comedy)

MC got a "study" system at the age of 38. It grants him money and abilities (such as been smarter, more handsome, stronger, etc. etc.) the more he studies. His son and daughter are three month away from the grueling College Entrance Exam. The system's main mission is for him to ace the exam and attend an ivy level college, and the reward, among other things, is 100 million dollars. So he quits his day job as delivery driver and attended his son and daughter's high school as a student, under the disguise of watching his children closely to make sure they are studying hard. Comedy abound of reactions from his daughter, son, and other parents and students. Probably will turn harem with beautiful teachers and sister-in-laws.....

Forging Fate into Sword, Killing Souls to Ascend_ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

(xuanhuan ? no harem, prog. fantasy, no system)
This book has a different power system based on "Destiny" that's not xianxia, not xuanhuan either, most like fantasy ? Everyone gets powerful through "Destiny Design" and "Destiny level". There are "destiny Qi" to be inhaled, "Destiny numbers" that determines how many destiny design one can have. Each Destiny design grants different ability. Like a "wave" destiny design grants the user ability to control water currents in the sea. "void" destiny grants spacial manipulation. etc. etc. MC has a tombstone that can help him pick the best destiny designs, and will also capture the essence of anyone who dies around him, and allow him to fight it and leech destiny points from it. I just like the power up.....

## North America's Richest Man: Starting by Harvesting Malice ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️
(harem, modern urban America, ruthless and smart MC, crime)

Not for the high moral readers, the MC is ruthless and will cheat, lie, torture and kill to advance.
He has a system that can see other people's ill will and if he fulfills them, he gets awards including skills, money, abilities.

Deepseek translated description:
William held his MIT acceptance letter but sneered at his bank balance.
His gambler father had lost their last penny, his alcoholic mother lay drunk at the welfare center’s doorstep, and his little sister Avril clung to his sleeve, trembling—this was his American nightmare.

Until the Malice List of his classmate Amanda appeared before his eyes:

[Malice: Failed last week’s math test, all because of that damn William. It used to cost 50,but this time he raised the price to 80. Such a greedy bastard—hope he gets kidnapped and sold for his organs.]
[Mission: Send William to a scam compound in northern Myanmar and harvest his kidney.]
[Reward: Mastery of Surgical Skills]

So hatred was the real currency.

William adjusted his nonexistent glasses and scribbled a formula on his math draft:
Fulfilling others’ malice = System rewards = Primitive capital accumulation

While the wolves of Wall Street were still playing with financial reports, he had already seized control of New York’s scales of desire.

This is the story of how an ordinary man from the bottom rose to become the richest in America.

Players, Please Behave—This World Really Can Collapse_** ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

(post apocalypse, high Martial, VR, fourth wall, no harem, no romance, multiverse, kingdom building)

Another "player think it is immersive VR, but actually play in a real world" story. writing is not bad, pacing ok, kind of like "this game is too realistic", but with high martial world.

AI translated description:
Lin Qi, an ordinary young entrepreneur, suddenly finds himself transported to a high-martial world—a realm where countless races thrive, monsters run rampant, and exotic civilizations flourish.

Beneath the dazzling prosperity of its endless metropolises lie mountains of bones. The gods reign supreme, treating their dominions as playgrounds where all living beings are mere toys for their amusement—granted life or erased on a whim.

Lin Qi discovers that all he has is a dilapidated, long-abandoned martial arts hall and a "Traditional Martial Arts System" capable of summoning players from another world.

What the players create and learn, I learn.
Using players as pawns and the myriad races as the chessboard, Lin Qi’s life of cautious survival begins.

"Want to play a 100% realistic virtual game?"
"Experience the ultimate epic battlefield of interracial warfare—interested?"
"Get stronger in the game, grow stronger in real life—still not tempted?"

Years later, during one of his speeches, Lin Qi remarked:
"They call me a devil from the abyss, a destroyer of civilizations, an overthrower of races, a slayer of gods—all slander, I assure you."
"I’m just a humble martial arts instructor with a dream: to open branches of my dojo across the world and improve people’s physical health and quality of life. As for their accusations? Well, perhaps it’s because I learned from them—using the torch of civilization and the name of justice to move their hearts, inspiring them to willingly open their gates and promote economic and population exchange between cities and civilizations."

Cancelled ? I'm going to Wreck this stupid entertainment industry

(Chinese entertainment, system, no harem, modern China, ruthless MC)

MC is an idol that just got cancelled due to scandals such as plagiarism, disrespecting elder actors, etc. etc. He then has a system that give him intels on other entertainment idols that also has scandals but hidden well. The more he exposes it, the more points he gets. So he can use use the points to trade for songs and other stuff to help him back on track. Many of the scandals are actually based on current events, such as tax evasion, lurid affairs, sex parties, etc. etc. Kind of fun to match the events in the novel with the real life ones... but if you don't know the scandals or are not familiar with Chinese entertainment, then it might be kind of boring.

This bad luck is so good !

(Luck, karma, modern Urban, harem,system)

One day, MC heard a "Ding !" in his head, then he hit someone with his delivery bike and spilled hot soup on the person. This would have been very bad luck, except the person is on the Police's most wanted list so MC subdued him with his bike and called the police. He got 200,000 RMB as a reward and a flag for his bravery..... So he knows that whenever he hears the "Ding" something bad will happen but he'll reap reward for it. Like buying a stock of a drug company that has a drug with failed trial, then it turns out the drug is the next viagra. Or the upstair neighbor has a kid that keeps playing loud music and jumps on the floor, but turns out he was kidnapped and the parents is super rich. etc. etc. The interesting part is to see how the bad luck turns into good, and also the portrait of the harems. One of them is a gold digger, but in a unique way.

Mortal world Corpse Immortal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(steady MC, slice of life, slow cultivation, longevity seeking, Chinese folklores, no harem)
MC wakes up one day to find himself transformed into a zombie.
[Zombie]— Undying, with endless lifespan, yet lacking any means to evolve or ascend!

Thankfully MC has a system where as he lay the corpse to rest through divine deliverance, he gets various rewards from gold to skills to cultivation levels. He can also see the whole life of the corpse from which he can gain skills and insights.

Faced with a crumbling dynasty where demons, monsters, and supernatural horrors run rampant, Xu Qing chooses to hide in plain sight, becoming the most inconspicuous corpse-handler in the underworld trade. From then on, he reaps various rewards by guiding the dead to their rest—mastering skills and supernatural arts with each passing day.

It is very much slice of life as each corpse has his/her own story to tell, especially in a troubling world. Some of them are based on old Chinese folklores, but some are half-original.

The Monsters are Coming ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(VR gaming, fourth apocalypse, Multiverse, multi-POV, no harem, world building)

This seems to be yet another "earth player" think they are playing VR game, but are actually in another world kind of novel. Similar to "This game is really realistic !", equally good, just different. MC inherits a broken world and some power of an all powerful Divine entity and he needs a lot of solders to fight and explore the world to regain his power. So he crafts a system to recruit VR game players from earth to do his bidding. There are also many other realms that's feeding into this "monster world", and other invading aliens that'll fight with the players. It is a fairly well written book with some interesting world designs and power systems. It doesn't just focus on the MC, but mostly on the various players and the groups. the various "villains" are also very interesting. like one of the realm is a small world where everyone cultivates and only the best will ascend, but actually the "spirit root" they worked so hard to cultivate is actually the young seeding of an alien specie that breaks out of their body Alien style once they ascend to the higher world where the aliens live. highly recommended.

This Martial Saint's Health Bar Is Too Thick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(no harem, no romance, lots of fighting, inspirational, ruthless MC, political scheming)

Set in parallel universe like end of 19th century China when the eight nation army invaded. Except in this one it is seven nations, and the great blue dynasty has special martial armies to defeat the western invasion. MC has a myriad blood pearl that acts as a secondary health bar. the pearl can level up when MC receive damage. It also grants different blood related skills like mind attack, strength boost, etc. etc. Martial styles and techniques are the main fighting styles.
Guns are also involved as they are imported in from the west. Some are also some political scheming involved. The overall tone of the book is kind of heavy as MC keep facing uphill battles with ever more powerful enemies, half the fun is to see how the author manage to make the MC's win over improbable odds somewhat believable.......Read if you enjoy never ending crisis and stressful scenarios.

My Doomsday Train ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(harem, ruthless MC, train upgrades, zombies, snowpiercer )

MC is in a post-apocalyptic world where some people can become a train conductor and command passengers to mine minerals that can be used to make food, water and other things to survive. Zombies and monsters roam the world so armor and weapon upgrades for the train are essential. MC has a cheat where he can upgrade the train components without limits. So even a low level 1 component like "train blade" can be upgraded to 100 level that can rotate and cut through the toughest monsters. There really isn't much of a plot, just the MC upgrading the train, getting more resources, killing monster, getting specially abilities and artifacts. There is, however a slowly unraveling mystery of why the apocalypse happened, and where the trains and components come from, and the looming destruction for the whole planet. Fun read if you like fast progression, equipment upgrades, and don't care about the morals of the MC.

In This Era of Universal Cultivation, the System Wants Me to Be a Demon Lord?! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(slice of life, modern cultivation, wrong system, no harem)

MC is in a modern world like earth, but cultivation is built into society like a sport or job. He got a system that wants him to do evil, but has massive mis-understanding of modern world. Like stealing someone's takeout is considered robbing someone of their destiny. AI generated personalities are considered a soul for the soul banner. Social media followers are considered as disciples. etc. etc. If you enjoy this kind of mis-understanding system novels, read on.

I'm a demonic Cultivator, not a capitalist ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(modern cultivation, making games, no harem, no system)

MC is in a modern cultivation world, he has average spirit root, but activated the heavenly Demonic Body physique that can generate spirits based on people's emotion. The positive emotions generate positive spirits and must be spent immediately as it conflicts with his demonic body, the negative emotions helps him level up. So he makes "dreamscapes"(which are like VR games) based on stuff he knows from earth. Like one based on "bizarre Dao Immortal" that can help the mind cultivators cultivate. Even though his goal is always to torture the players so he gets negative emotions, but it always end up generating positive ones due to series of coincidence and mis-understandings. I guess it is just fun to watch such reversal, same reason why I enjoyed losing money to be tycoon so much.

Mirror in the Dust ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(haremish, scheming, ruthless MC, ancient China dynasty)

MC wakes up in the game he played before as the sacrificial lamb in the first act. He schemes to reverse his fortune and dominate the game through his prior knowledge. Since he starts from such a bad position, it still requires a lot of scheming to make it happen. I like the progression and the MC's acts. Not much harem, just a lot of maybes.

Description:
The world is a crucible, Yin and Yang its coals, humanity the bronze, and the Dao its flame.
Those who spread the Dao like carrying firewood to quench a blaze only court self-immolation—wrong, wrong, wrong!
Only when Gu Fangchen opened his eyes and transmigrated into the world of the game Dusty Mirror did he finally grasp the secret within these words.
...
That year, the Princess of Zhenbei was still gentle as water, doting on her son to the point of obsession.
The Eldest Princess was cold as frost, her gaze haughtily aloof—her smile couldn’t be bought with a thousand gold.
The Younger Princess, charmingly naive, dreamed only of heroic knights and loathed vile villains above all.
The Grand Princess commanded armies like a War God, while the Female State Preceptor overturned clouds and rain with a wave of her hand.
And the sole heir of the Prince of Zhenbei—notorious for his worthlessness and rotten-to-the-core depravity—had just been exposed as the lowly son of a horse groom, swapped at birth by a demonic cult.
The true heir stood revealed: the newly crowned Top Scholar, a true disciple of the sages, endowed with a breath of noble spirit.

Player Gu Fangchen didn’t care one bit—and decided to start speedrunning.

The Lich, WTF is summoning 055 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(two world, Chinese military weapons, lich summon, scheming )

MC is in a magic world as a Lich. He starts with a summon ability and somehow connects to his home country way on the other side of the universe and allow him to send stuff to/from it. So instead of summoning skeletons, he asks for help and the Xia country sends him modern weapons like guns, drones, grenades, and other high tech stuff to help. As he grows more powerful, he can summon bigger objects, eventually a fully equipped 055 Destroyer, thus the title. He also sends back magical stuff from his world back to help the Xia Country as well. Many weapons are either Chinese military or high tech stuff custom made, just google it and pretend it is western weapon. A gun is a gun no matter where it is made. I just like seeing modern weapon versus magical spells.

[Pay Attention, This is how to play a Wizard]https://www.qidian.com/book/1044012213/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(multi worlds, modern magic, no system, no harem)

MC is in a modern world been invaded by alien worlds through portals that appears around the world. Everyone has a chance to awaken their inner space at 18 to gain special abilities. MC awakened a special inner space that grants him mostly supporting role abilities, but they are very powerful. He starts with a heal spell, and another way to put ppl into their worst nightmares. He can also easily gain new abilities as he slays more monsters. It is mostly just to see MC using his ability in fun and unexpected ways. He is also very smart and scheming.

**American Media: Mafia Boss, WTF is peace ambassador ! ** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(modern urban, mafia, gangster, American TV/movies, ruthless MC, harem )

MC is in a world that combines many different American TV and movies. Mostly gangster and action types from the 90-2000 era. Things like the good fella, John Wick, Die Hard Series, The Professional, etc. etc. He is a low level member of the Luchese Family and has a peace keeping system where if he stopped violence and kept the peace, he gets buffs and peace points that allow him to copy skills from other people. Imagine having the gun skills from John Wick, kung-fu fighting from Jackie Chen, Assassination skills from Leon. etc. etc. It is a well written novel with many characters, some of the skills are funny, like John Wick has the "Dog Killer" skill, meaning if he had a dog, he has a +5% boost to all his skills, and if someone killed the dog and he is to do the avenge, then he gets a 100% boost. John Mclane (die hard) has a "barefoot" skill where he gets a 20% movement speed boost while barefooted. It is worth it to just see the skills by the characters. There actually is like a semi-coherent plots of MC moving up the ranks in the mafia family to keep the story going. Best for people who have a fan of these mafia/action movies, would recommend to watch the TV/movies mentioned in the novel to enhance enjoyment of reading.

I'm a cultivator but in a Wizard World ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(magic, sci-fi world, cultivation, no harem, no system, multi-realm)

Yet another novel of mixed Sci-fi/Cultivation/Wizard. MC is in a wizard world with magic, but he has a Dao library in his mind that contains vast amount of knowledge for cultivation. But without the Lin energy, most of those knowledges are useless. However he was able to use some of it as the way cultivation works in based on the concept of things, which exists in both world. So he was able to use the cultivation knowledge to help him advance in the wizard world. Sci-fi stuff comes in as the wizard world is quiet advanced as it invades multiple sub-realms and magic has advanced enough to be like science fiction.

Imitator Of God ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(神的模仿犯)
(modern urban, complex games, smart MC, no harem)

This is by one of my favorite author who wrote the "losing money to be tycoon" novel that I enjoyed so much. But this is one is very different. It is kind of like Alice in Wonderland where complex games with rules are played by various players. In this one, When some people die, they enter into a new world where they form a community with 11 other people. They have to play different games to survive and extend their stay. The twist is that the designers of the games are among them, they just don't know that, or who it is. Read if you like smart MC and complex games exploring the limits of humanity.

Reborn in 1997, I'm in the City PD to solve Cold Cases ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(重生97,我在市局破悬案 )
(modern urban China, no harem, no system , crime solving, slow burn )

It is kind of like "life on Mars" where the MC reborn 25 years in the past. With his memory of cold cases, some remain unsolved, he works in the City Police department again as a young detective to either solve, or prevent crimes from happening. The writing is good, and the cases are well designed. It just can get a bit slow paced as solving one crime can take 20-30 chapters, So if you like fast moving plots, this isn't for you. It also happens in China, so if you are not interested in life at 1997 in China, you might get a bit bored as it'll be less relatable.

Staying Low-key in Cultivation realm, devouring to be Immortal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(苟在修仙界吞噬成圣)
(no harem, gold finger, devouring, cultivation, ruthless and low-key MC)

MC is in a cultivation realm. He is a wandering cultivator with an average spirit root. This is kind of similar to RMJI. MC stays low-key, and has a system where he can devour magical artifacts, all kinds of spirit energies, and just about anything of value. He can then use it to improve his spirit root, learn new cultivation methods, and improve them. He uses it to slowly getting stronger and higher levels, all while pretending to be at much lower level and just getting lucky and barely break through. It can be slow pace at times, but if you enjoy a MC that's true to his believes and act smart. keep reading.

Starting Chinese Entertainments with Fortune Telling ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(华娱从摆摊算命开始)
(harem, Chinese entertainments, slight cultivation, modern urban)

MC inherits a cultivation system that allows him to cultivates with "devotion", Like how much fans devotes to their star. The more "devotions" he has, the more powerful spells he can do. He uses it mainly to make himself stronger/more powerful, and also to be able to tell the fortunes of those around him. Naturally he became a star himself, but he also gather a harem of female stars, both foreign, and Chinese. He does this in two ways, one, he can make a lot of money as a star and an investor, since he is a regressor, so he knows which movies will be successful, and he can also do fortune telling, so even the ones he doesn't remember, he still knows. He can also make a person young again, through the use the "devotions". Imaging what a female actress would do if someone can make them ten or twenty years younger.......

Who told you to transmigrate with the Industrial Cthulhu ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(谁让你带工业邪神穿越的)
(no harem, Cthulhu, Military Weapons, multiverse)

MC has a gate in his mind that allow him to travel to different realms. The first one is a western magic based world and he was just betrayed by the Royals. So he stopped trying to survive by himself, and instead exposed the world to the Chinese government so the full might of the China's military and manufacture industry can be utilized. I enjoy modern tech versus magic stuff, and this one will have the MC travel to different world like Cultivation world, or historic world.

Everyday trying my best to be a devil ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(# 今天也在努力做魔头)
(harem, ancient China, cultivation, no system, gold finger, reborn)

A new my novel by one of my favorite author 开荒 . I enjoy his novels because he often has unique power systems, and the MC is smart and ruthless. There are also many plotting, and development of either a clan, or a government, or a tribe, or his own forces. This one is about a MC that was the best rogue cultivator who got betrayed. As a backup plan, his soul is transferred into another body who is a young person with 3 wives who are trying to murder him. So the story is about him regaining his power, finding out why his wives want to kill him, and taking revenge. If you liked his other novels, you'll like this one too.

The Isekai Dracolich Manual ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(异界骨龙操作指南)
(no harem, magic, cross-world, modern technology, lightnovel, no system, slow power up)

MC got transported to a magic world and bonded with a Dracolich that also has a human form as well. They are hunted by the powerful Holy Light Church and also trying to figure out a way to go back to earth. MC's only "cheat" is that he has Dimensional Magic Ability that allows him to control a skeleton on earth, and to perform a spell that can exchange materials between two worlds. Like he can transport a car engine to the magic world and at the same time an equivalent of materials to earth. So he is able to bring over machines, computers, weapons, etc. etc, but not in great quantities, and limited by what's available in the magic world. The novel is written in a more formal/light novel style than the normal webnovels. It is better written, and the MC power up is much slower, and the plot more reasonable. It isn't for everyone. Sometime I would stop because all plans would have issues, and I just want to read something more fun.
But I kept going because it has guns Vs Magic......and other technology + magic stuff.

America, My system came from 1885 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(美利坚,我的系统来自1885年)
(Modern urban, American football, high school, system, haremish, slice of life)

Yet another novel with a system that's 100 years too late. But in this one system is barely there, it just comes up once in a while to complete missions and buff the MC. Most of the story is about how MC ascends in High School American football with his enhanced physicals. Imagine a high school Chinese ABC (American Born Chinese) that can bench lift like a NFL linebacker, runs faster than Usain Bolt, smarter than math Olympiad champions, has the strategy and vision of the best quarterbacks, and is very handsome. Now put him in East Riverside High school in the rich neighborhood of New York City where Football is religion. He is having a good life...... This is about the only novel where it is mostly about American football, and the high school culture around it where the quarterback is the homecoming king and boyfriend of the head of the cheerleaders. Think Teen Wolf, but for football. The writing is also good, author is knowledgeable of football and American culture. The novel reads almost like an American Sitcom about football. Even if you don't know the rules, you can still enjoy it.

ok, looks like it is turning into monthly..... too much work.........

**You can see my previous reading lists Here: www.chaosdrifter.cc

**Practice the Dao of MTL to read these novels:

High Martial: from plane mechanic to Myriad Sword Immortal ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(高武:从机修师到万法剑仙)
(High Martial, Mecha, cultivation, modern Urban, Monster Invasion, no harem, prog fantasy)

Yet another mistaken system novel (these sure are popular nowadays). MC is in a modern world with advanced fighter jets and giant Mechas piloted by human to fight invading monsters from another world. Humans can also practice high Martial arts to strengthen their body and mind so they can pilot those war machines effectively without been torn apart by high Gs. MC was just a generic average mechanic apprentice until he activated the sword cultivation assist system that mistaken the fighter jets as flying swords...... So when he flies the fighter jet, the system thinks he is commanding a flying sword and will then grant him practice points and level up his mind and body as if he was a sword cultivator, which in turn enhances his ability to pilot the planes so he can fight bigger monster to get more rewards, etc. etc. A bit different take on the whole flying sword thing. Read on if you like that.

I barely tried, and it is already reaching the system's limit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(我略微出手,就是系统的极限)
(High Martial, modern Urban, Monster Invasion, sci-fi,no harem, prog fantasy)

This is a very progression Fantasy like novel. Most of the novels are just the MC doing different trials, getting rewards, fighting ever powerful foes, and leveling up from one to the next. There really isn't much of a plot. MC is in a high martial world where earth is a level 0.7 civilization in a galaxy/Universe full of level 2/3 civilizations. And the way to level up is to go through a "civilization ascendance" process to collect civilization enhancing spirits. MC has a system who thinks he is in a low martial world. So even though MC was just a level 1 break-out martial artist, the system think he already achieved Grand Martial master level. so MC gets big rewards from the system that still helps him in the real world. There are also various buffs from the system based on situations that are interesting, like "when your teammate or enenmy is female, you get 50% boost on damage and speed.", or "when you are near a high martial saint who has close relation ship with you, both of you get 20% boost on understanding and training efficiency." so the MC with those buffs will fight through a lot of trials, challenges, and alien enemies and getting a lot of rewards to upgrades. There is a little bit of romance in there, but not much. read on if you like seeing the MC constantly fighting and leveling up.

I'm in USA, my uncle is Don Quixote ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(人在美利坚:我的叔叔堂吉诃德)
(invincible MC, modern America, mistaken system, harem, nationalism, football)

yes, yes, another mistaken system again. This one is on a MC in modern America, the System thinks he is in medieval times, and his drunken American uncle is Don Quixote. So MC at night time will go on quest with his uncle while he is sleep walking. The quests is like getting rid of a witch (just a prostitute), or defeat a golem (fighting a pickpocket). So MC gets rewarded with gold coins, enhanced body strength and mind, and magical items which he uses to dominate American football, kind like the other novel I read a while back. This one is not as well written but still fun to read nevertheless.

ok, looks like it is turning into monthly..... I'll try to keep it 2 weeks after all these holidays.
but at least this one as a lot of novels....

**You can see my previous reading lists Here: www.chaosdrifter.cc

**Practice the Dao of MTL to read these novels:

[Even this game is acceptable ? Please all of you just ask for refund !]https://www.qidian.com/book/1046637414/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(这游戏也吃得下?求求你们退款吧)
(Modern urban, video games, system, no harem)

Yet another losing money to be tycoon kinda novel. MC is in a new world, the system is that for every refund his game gets, he gets paid 100X. so if his game on steam was refunded by the user for $100, he would get $10,000. So he is making games that look good on the outside so people will buy it, but then gets worst soon so players will be disgusted/frustrated and ask for a refund, PROFIT. Of course things won't turn out the way MC planned, each of his game started bad, and then through a fortunate turn of events, gets loved by the players so he gets 0 refund, but still makes some profit from selling the game. If you know the genre well, you know how it goes. the fun part is always see how author turns the game around and MC reacting to not been able to make the massive profit. this one is ok, I just like the genre I guess.

Start with the base from Red Alert game, But you want me to make a movie !? ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(开局红警基地,你却让我拍电影?)
(modern urban, America, system, no harem, ruthless MC)

This is mostly anti-america. MC has a system that grants him base and units from the Red Alert game series, but ask him to make movies. So he setup the base in Tijuana Mexico and started filming a anti-drug film. The film is basically just a real documentary of how he used the military units from Red Alert and slaughtered the corrupt police and drug gang militias and took control of the city. Then It is just bigger battles to control the region and eventually whole of America under the guise of making movies.

Forcing me to sweep the whole Music Industry ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(逼我横扫乐坛是吧)
(Chinese entertainment, urban, no system, finished)

MC is in a new world in a powerful family. So he has been trained for many things and posses great music talent, along with a perfect memory to replicate any work from earth. But he is lazy, he just want to enjoy life and doesn't want to work as in his previous life on earth he worked hard as a singer only to die right as he became successful. But his family and everyone around him doesn't want to see his talent wasted, so his forced to make a choice, either be a singer or go back to be a CEO and inherit his family's billion fortune. He chose the singer route because it was easier than working as a CEO. The novel really is just about him trying to escape as much work as possible while still producing a lot of work earth that impressed everyone. The only good thing about this one is that MC already comes from a powerful and wealthy family so he doesn't have to deal with any of the negative side of the industry. As, no one would force members of the Ellison family to go drink with him to get a role in a movie....

Marvel: the Alchemist just want a peaceful life ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(漫威:炼金术士只想平静的生活)
(marvel comics, John Wick, urban, no harem)

MC is an alchemist in the Marvel Comic + John Wick Universe world. He is friend with John Wick because he saved his wife from cancer through alchemy. the Novel start with him saving Tony Stark from the desert kidnapping. Then his investigation into his parents' death as they were high ranking employees of the Stark Corporation. Then of course comes Thor.. and so and so forth. Read on if you like Marvel Comic Fanfics.

I'm the grandpa in a ring for the disciples ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(# 我才是徒弟们的随身老爷爷?)
(system, disciples, cultivation, sect building)

MC has a system that grants him stuff as he starts his own sect and recruit disciples. Except many of his disciples fit the profiles of MC in other popular cultivation webnovels. Like his first one was a lowly disciple from a sword sect that had his sword meridian broken and was kicked out.. even the names are similar as well. So it is just a fun one to read. He is also a cultivator in a WuXia world so that's his gold finger along with the system.

Street Food Vendor, becoming Food God starting from listening to advices ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(街头摆摊,从听劝开始成为食神)
(cooking, system, modern urban)

MC has a cooking god system that if he listens to other's useful advices, he'll get more skills, equipment, and recipes. He starts as a street vendor selling fried chicken outside of university, and grows to have his own restaurant, etc. etc. I just haven't read a cooking novel for a while and picked this one up, so far so good.

Dog of the Cultivation Dynasty ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(仙朝鹰犬)
(cultivation, system, scheming MC, haremish ?)

MC is in a world that had cultivation but now mostly are high martial wuxia. he has a system just triggers randomly and give him infos around the people he sees. He used it go get important Intels so he gets into a government's intelligence unit as an enforcer. Of course secretly he is doing cultivation through over-throwing the current dynasty. Like he gains two cultivation levels just by killing a princess. There are some scheming in there and the MC is certainly ruthless as well.

Entertainment World, Your King is Back ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(文娱:你们的皇帝回来了)
(chinese entertainment, reincarnation, system, haremish ?)

MC transmigrated into a new world, He has a system that grants him songs and other stuff from earth in loot box fashion. He used to become very successful and was called the King of the Entertainment World. Then when he got a rare disease and died when he was 30. The novel starts as MC is reborn five year later a canceled male idol in a subsidiary company of the company that he founded. So the novel is about his rising again now as an idol, and taking back control the company he once founded. I haven't seen a novel that combined iskai + reborn together, so it is interesting to read.

This Daoist is going to College ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(贫道要考大学)
(modern urban, light novel, slice of life, haremish ?, no system, cultivation)

ok, this one is really like a light novel. the MC is just a young daoist with a little bit of cultivation power. There are no system, no gold finger, no reincarnation, no face slapping. MC has been living in the daoist temple with his Daoist master for all his life in the mountains. Then when the Daoist master passed away, He found out that to inherit the temple, he needs a college education. So he went into the city and enrolled in high school to study for the college entrance exam and get that degree. He has some power, like good memory, good body control, and his cultivation level is kind of high, but the world itself has every little spirit energy so he is limited in what he can do. The book is very much slice of life and very slow paced. It mainly is just him studying in high school and getting involved with like three girls. The writing is good, so I kept reading.

Forging America, My campaign manager is FDR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(缔造美利坚:我竞选经理是罗斯福)
(American politics, no harem, no system, American MC)

So MC is an American. He is doing his PHD in history and an avid fan of FDR (Franklin Roosevelt). He was deep in debit and just got fired from his job because he was criticizing an amazon like company on X. Then the spirit of FDR entered his mind and started coaching him on how to win elections and eventually become the President of the United State. It was the only way to make America Great Again. It is all about nationalizing the essential services, like finance, education, utility, health care, and making unions powerful again. Read on if you are interested in American politics.

Sorry, Started a new Job, will be busy, also POE2, so probably every 2-3 weeks

**Practice the Dao of MTL to read these novels:

[Super Animal Detective]https://www.qidian.com/book/1043589342/) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(动物神探)
(Modern urban, animals, crime solving)

not much to say, the MC has an ability to speak to animals, and he use it to solve crimes. Later his ability evolves to been able to improve the animal, and help him even more. over all tone is light and sometime funny.

Don't you understand the value of a rogue cooking Chef ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(懂不懂美食界邪修的含金量!)
(modern urban, food, system )

In current China DouYin (TikTok), there is a trending style for "rogue cooks" who uses things like microwave, air friers, and unconventional ingredients to make delicious Chinese food in shorter times and with far fewer steps. MC has a system that grants him such things and he uses it to compete in a streaming cooking competition. Read it mainly to learn these "rogue" recipes which are actually applicable in real life as they are taken from the TikTok videos. It is mostly just MC making food in un-conventional ways, reaction from the streaming audiences, and going to next dish.

I really didn't want to be a rapper ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(我真没想当说唱歌手啊)
(Chinese entertainment, urban, system)

MC is an unsuccessful rapper in a parallel world. Just as he was about to quit his music career and work a 9-5. He got a system that grants him songs from earth, mostly Chinese rap songs, but also other ones. He then use the rap songs for himself, and give the other ones like folk songs to his friends to help them out and start his own company. Typical Entertainment novel with a system, but with an emphasis on rap songs, which I like.

PS, I've just been actually catching on old novels so have not had many new ones added. But also there wasn't many new novels that caught my interests.......

**America, My system came from 1885** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Secret Dealer ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(# 隐秘买家)
(system, scheming MC, High Martial, behind the curtain )

MC isekaied into a high martial world as an average no talent person, but he has trading system that can trade anything. Life, abilities, time, dreams, health, he can trade it all. So he traded some of his life for training time, and then traded wealth for health, and health for wealth. It snowballs as the MC keeps some of the trading results for himself, improving his talent and skills so become a powerful Martial Master. Soon he also starts a whole society based on trading, like the fool in Lord of the Mystery. It is alright, a bit too much scheming for me.

Dominating the Whole world as a single Dragon ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(# 以一龙之力打倒整个世界!)
(dragon, magic, evolve, no harem ?)

MC starts as a young dragon of mixed blood between a red dragon and an Iron Dragon. He has an ability to evolve his body and mind according to the environment and his action. Like if he is in a hot environment, his body will grow adapt to it. If he ingest poison, eventually he'll be immune. If he keeps using his magic, he'll get better. It is just like regular training, but much speed up. So he is training himself to be the strongest dragon to fight against a world where dragons are hunted and killed for their body and treasure. If you like a non-human MC, and evolve based progression, you'll enjoy it. A bit too slow paced for me.

**Practice the Dao of MTL to read these novels:

**The Isekai Dracolich Manual** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my toy factory, who dare to slander it as a military industrial complex ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(我这玩具厂,谁诽谤说军工复合体)
(system, modern china, military, no harem, )

Another novel in one of my guilty pleasure category, which is disguised advanced weapons.
MC has a system for improving toys, which has such nice capability and cheap prices as to be wonderful weapons. He sells them as toys, other countries/entities buys them and use as weapons. This is a play on memes in real world where folks in middle east buy Chinese made propane canisters and use them as made-shift artillery shells. This one starts with very cheap drones ($50) that can carry small payloads such as flash grenades and fly fast and steady, so they are used as kamikaze drones by the Russians to clear out rooms or trenches. then it goes to more advanced stuff...... Each time the MC makes it as toys and other entities buys it and use it for battle.

Just Getting Ready for College Entrance Exam, WTF is revenge of Canceled Idol ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(刚准备高考,过气顶流逆袭什么鬼)
(Chinese entertainments, system, modern China, maybe harem ?)

MC is a senior in high school. He suddenly got a system that thinks he is a 30 year old left-over idol that was framed by his agent and close friends and got canceled. So now the system is goading him to rise again by giving him points and electrocute him if he gets lazy. So far just your run of the mill Chinese entertainment system novel. But there is a twist. While MC is studying or doing a real exam, the system thinks he is acting, and grants him script comprehension points, or acting skills, that also translates to math comprehension and study skills. so the MC is using the system to help him study and do well in the College entrance Exam, and at the same time he also gets songs and other culture exports from earth that he is using to help his female friends (or girlfriends, not sure) succeed as singers. So it is a bit different and can be fun. Although 50% of the novel is about studying....

See the Deepseek translated description for more details:
Obtaining a two-way portal that leads to multiple heavens, Gu Ming initially planned to carve out a vast territory in another world, only to be utterly crushed by reality.

Disheartened, the wanderer returned to his homeland and reconnected with his roots.

Thus, the steel tide marched through the galaxy, crossing worlds to arrive!

"Hehehe, care to learn about the Industrial Evil God?"

...

—Transcending into a magical world, as steel-forged aircraft carriers shattered the gates of another world, and armored behemoths crushed magical formations:

"Ten thousand years of magical heritage? Talk to my missiles!"

"Targets are tough, requesting Little AI Spirit—3,000 Magical Dongfeng missiles, saturation strike. Over!"

"You have a two-headed hellhound? Perfect, I have a flamethrower robot dog."

—Transcending into a xianxia world:

"Ballistics is also a Dao, marksmanship is also a technique!"

"What kind of spell? The Great Tank Summoning Art!"

"I'm a warship cultivator, elder—times have changed—BOOM!"

—Transcending into a historical world:

"So it's the Great Tang world. This should be easy."

"Wait, why is there a hairy-faced, thunder-voiced monkey here?" "Which goddamn Great Tang is this???"

...

This era has no gods, only colossal warships tearing through the skies!

Tank barrels are the scepters of diplomacy! The roar of explosions is the finest symphony!

Entertainment: Please stop planning stuff, my idol is about to be ridiculed to death ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(# 娱乐:别策划了!哥哥要被笑死了)
(no harem, Chinese entertainments, system, modern urban)

MC use to be a stunt person in the old world. He transmigrated to a parallel world as a just canceled idol. So he got a new job as an event planner. At the same time he has a system that'll grant him emotional points in exchange for different abilities and songs/movies. Typical urban idol webnovel. It just has a side of even planning and how he unintentionally plans events that end up with very different results. Like he planned a welcoming event for an idol, and it turned into a funeral procession by fans because the fan wore their idol's favorite color, which is white...

---

What, You are choreographing action scenes for in a romance movie ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(不是,你为爱情片设计动作?)
(no harem, modern Urban, action movies, system)

MC reborn in a place much like Singapore. He has a system that help him to make action movies. The more famous movies gets, the more points he get to buy more action movies, and abilities. The world he is in focus primarily on romance movies, so action movie isn't even a genre. He starts by adding a small fight scene into a romance short movie, and that turned out to be the high light of the movie. He then made a TV series much like the God of Gambling. Then from there he'll make real movies. Read if you like action movies, especially the early HongKong movies like Bruce lee, and others. Many techniques are discussed in the novel about how the action scene is choreographed, and made after 1000s of attempts without CGI.

#The Grand Agriculture Minister, I really didn't want to farm ⭐️⭐️⭐️

大司农:我真不想种田的
(no system, no harem, modern farming, slice of life, Chinese mythology)

MC inherits an artifact from ancient times that grant him the knowledge and power of the Grand Agriculture Minister. So he can control all things related to farming, and can cultivate the Farming Dao. So he went back to his rural hometown and started a big farm. With his farming cultivation techniques, he is able to produce very tasty vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and meats. If you like farming, you might enjoy it. There are some fighting and scheming, but mostly is about making money and gaining influence through farming.

Wizard, start with combining Gems ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(巫师:从合成宝石开始)
(wizard, magic, no system, middle age. )

MC has a Horadric cube and is in a wizard world. The cube can be used to combine various low level resources like small gems into higher quality ones that grant additional ability and are much harder to get. He use that to advance his journey to become a great white wizard.

**Practice the Dao of MTL to read these novels:
---

Science Invasion of the Cultivation World ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(modern urban, science-based cultivation, no harem, no system , two world)

yes, I've read too many "normal" cultivation novels in 25 years, so now I'm only interested in something a bit different. Like Science + cultivation. MC is in a world where Lin Energy is coming back to earth, and along with it, traditional cultivators who wants to enslave it. The government fought back with F-35 fighter jets and thermo-nuclear missiles. After many years, cultivation is now science based, and everyone can cultivate. MC is a high school student with a door that can be used to travel to another world where traditional cultivation thrives. So he is able to get all the raw material from the traditional cultivation world, use the advanced and automated forging techniques in the modern world to make artifacts and then sell them for 1000% profit back to the traditional world. read if you ever wonder what would happen when you combine cultivation stuff with science, like nano bots that can make an array formation, or flying swords imbued with advanced machineries.

I, exiled prince, send me money ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(Fourth apocalypse, magic world, medieval, kingdom building, no harem , funny)

MC is in a magic world as an exchange prince in the major kingdom to serve as a hostage.
He gets a system to summon players from earth who thinks it is a VR game. There are some scheming, and just players been players wrecking the world.

We Agreed it is private enterprise, WTF is a Space Carrier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(giant battleships, modern china, GaiJin game, no harem)

MC reborn in 1996 China, inherits a failing ship yard. He has a system that's based on the "Modern Warship" game by Gaijin entertainment. So he can build ships from the game, but he starts with battleships and technologies from the second world War. So he builds many battleships like Yamato, the Bismarck, Iowa class. Since they are not useful in the 1996 world of carrier groups, he converts them into fishing ships, or tourist attractions. later as he upgrades he can get more advanced ships, planes, weapons, submarines from the 1960s and more. He uses them to build a vast stealth fleet and sells some ships to the Chinese government to help them build out their navy. He also uses his future knowledge to buy up tech companies in U.S. and become a billionaire. There are some China nationalism, but not much, the main focus is building the battleships, have them in battle to fight modern missiles cruisers and later carriers.
It is just fun and different. The start can be boring as he disguise the ships as a pearl harbor re-enactment amusement park in a harbor in China's coastal town.

Stay LowKey in Demonic Sect as an expendable ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(no system, cultivation, demonic sect, ruthless MC, scheming, haremish, karma)

I guess this is classical cultivation ? Although it is heavy on Karma, destiny, and each cultivation levels are much more powerful, like foundational stage is already very powerful, more like the traditional golden core or nascent soul level power. MC has an artifact that allows him to restart at a certain point in time when he dies. Kind of like a simulation loop. There is a limit to the numbers of restart so MC is trying to make the most of each run. He is able to preserve either his cultivation level, his artifacts, or chose to have a random talent. He starts in a demonic sect as a lower expendable, and there are lot of scheming by everyone to advance their own goals.

The Age of Quantum, I'm the King of Games ⭐️⭐️⭐️

(no system, no harem, video games, modern world)

MC is in an advanced society with quantum computers everywhere. Since the computer are so powerful, everyone is just making VR video games that focus on graphic quality and stories, but they forgot the most import part of the game: interesting game play. So MC starts as founder of a small gaming company and his first game is a match three style game like candy crush. It might be simple and non-flashy, but it is fun to play and addictive. Cue the player reaction "This game is trash, it is so small, graphic is so childish, WOW it is so FUN, I can't stop playing !". The gaming industry experts and companies look down on him for that, but as his games are selling so well, they are starting to turn around.
